Eating well is not about restriction or deprivation but eating the foods you enjoy while maintaining a balanced diet, rich in nutrient-dense foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. It is crucial that every woman meet her individual needs which will vary depending on age, activity level and risk factors in order to support her overall health and lifelong wellbeing. Ensuring adequate intake of nutrients from food will support bone strength, reproductive and cardiovascular health, all of which are crucial for staying strong and healthy as we age.
